As much as I once loved Java, I now realize that I can develop much faster in Ruby. I used to hate interpreters and interpreted languages. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interpreted_language) I learned to love interpreted languages and dynamic types. I now love Ruby. I now believe Ruby on Rails is the right tool for the right problem (web applications)
